Masks, colour and warped reality collide as the album’s central figure steps forward. Joker pulls the listener into a world where music becomes both illusion and revelation.
It’s so nice to see you here on a night like this
When your colours reveal all their bliss
I’m not one of those guys who dreams too much
But when I do, I get lost in you
So take my hand and just let go
Dance with me as we step into the unknown
Paint my soul white
So you can see the shape of my light
My heart red and bright
So you can feel it all right
Was it real at all, or did I dream too much
The can of paint sits there untouched
My dreams are hard to understand
But still I see your colours in my hands
Take my word and just let go
Dance with me as we step into the unknown
Paint my soul white
So you can see the shape of my light
My heart red and bright
So you can see it all right
Paint my soul white
So you can see the shape of my light
My heart red and bright
So you can see it all right
Male and female vocals rise from fragile intimacy into one of the album’s most progressive moments. Astral is the sound of doubt turning into motion—and the impossible coming within reach.
The lights you show
Never struck me before
Oh, I thought I was done
Burned out, as I was numb
But through the masquerade
The faith that had faded
I came stumbling down
From the gates of oblivion
To see the wild in your eyes
To see the wild in your eyes
Have you been here before
Have you heard its calls
What I never asked for
Now crawls past my walls
Now I see it eye to eye
And I finally realize
I never belonged to anyone, but now
The privilege is mine
To see the wild in your eyes
Now show me how to fly
Now show me
It’s raw when black rats turn to white flags
Raw, it wants its catch, it wants it back
Raw, the wild eyes hide shadows in white
Now I see the wild in your eyes
Now it shows me how to fly
Feed the burn
Until it is all gone.
Absolution is never kind
When fear and hate are all you find
Feed the burn
Until it is all gone
It’s raw
A driving synth pulse, massive guitars and soaring vocals push Saints straight to the heart of the album. It is a song about buried innocence, resilience and choosing humanity when the world turns cold.
In this land, you bury saints deep
Wash your hands with their beliefs
Sixteen feet, and still you hear them speak
Beaten hearts with clean dreams
Where’s the sun I couldn’t find
In these eyes of mankind
So I dig down, deep underground
Until I know just what I found
Dance with me, it’s easy
Just breathe, it’s easy
Dance with me, it’s easy
Just breathe, just breathe
Now innocence is covered in stone
And silence wheels in like a wall
Digging holes like a dog for its bone
Imminence of hope makes us crawl
Dance with me, it’s easy
Just breathe, it’s easy
Dance with me, it’s easy
Just breathe, just breathe

If music is more than background noise—if it is a gateway into other worlds—MonDeGos is for you.
MonDeGos is a Helsinki-based alternative rock band whose music blends cinematic soundscapes, heavy guitars, progressive textures, northern melancholy and emotionally direct songwriting. Rather than simply writing songs, the band creates immersive worlds where music, imagery and storytelling become inseparable.
Its debut album, Trickster, brings together everything MonDeGos has built over the past two years. Inspired by the ancient Trickster archetype, the album explores illusion, identity, memory, power and hope through twelve interconnected songs.
The Trickster appears as a guide, a shapeshifter, a master of ceremonies, an inner voice and a disruptive force that invites listeners to question certainty and step beyond familiar reality. Rather than telling one linear story, the album creates a symbolic world where masks become identities, stories become truth and music becomes a doorway between ordinary life and imagination.
An important part of MonDeGos’ creative roots lies in North Karelia, regarded as the birthplace of Finland’s ancient rune singing tradition and one of the landscapes that inspired the Kalevala. Many of the band’s songs have been written there, surrounded by forests, lakes and long stretches of silence.
The visual identity of Trickster grows from the same source. Its cover artwork reimagines a photograph of a North Karelian rune singer taken around the turn of the twentieth century, suspended somewhere between history, memory and myth.
At its heart, MonDeGos celebrates the enduring power of rock music—not merely to entertain, but to challenge, comfort and reveal hidden parts of ourselves. The Trickster marks the beginning of the band’s next chapter.
MonDeGos believes in freedom of expression, open-mindedness and independent thought.
We question prejudice, easy answers and every form of power that discourages people from asking questions.
Our songs are not political manifestos. They are invitations to think, imagine and see familiar things from unexpected perspectives.
Yet our music is never built from darkness alone. There is movement. There is playfulness. There is resistance.
And above all, there is the possibility of transformation.
